Almost 19 and active, Richmond, Virginia native Ryan Easter is working harder than ever. Moving up to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music,
he's busy branching between the limits of jazz and hip hop.
Drawing inspirations from trumpet player Ambrose Akinmusire, rapper Lupe Fiasco, and the bands RH Factor and The Mars Volta, he plans to establish
a synch between all of those styles, performing jazz and hip hop shows around his city and soon, Boston.

now flipping the script and working with DJ Pitch to fully produce his feature hip hop premiere, "Last of the Losers". While all that rap's going on, he's
at the piano, writing music for his jazz/hip hop album "Apophenia"
