Rodrigo and Gabriela are an acoustic guitar duo they play purely instrumental music and their influences include Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot, Shadows Fall and Mastodon. Gabriela plays the rhythm sections including percussive slaps on her guitar while Rodrigo cranks out the lightning speed melodies. Their latest album 2006-released 'Rodrigo y Gabriela' includes covers of Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin) and Orion (Metallica).
