Riotgod was formed in mid 2007 by Bob Pantella and Jim Baglino, both of Monster Magnet fame, while seeking another outlet for their own musical tendencies during Monster Magnet’s downtime. Bob contacted Mark Sunshine for vocals and Garrett Sweeny for guitar and Riotgod was born. After some long and hard writing, touring and promoting, the band finally signed with German label Metalville records and released their self-titled debut album worldwide on August 17th, 2010. Their sophomore effort Invisible Empire has already been released in Europe on October 21st, 2011 and will see the daylight in North America on January 31st, 2012.
