Nemesis is a musical project by music producer, Pokermask. In April 2016, after feeling dissillusioned with using the Pokermask-name for hismusic, he started to work out the plans for a new project, that would showcase a musical direction, different from what had been presented inhis previous works. He also felt that the name "Pokermask" had become too distracting, as it was more associated to his stop-motion work,rather than his musical work.

Nemesis is a musical project by music producer, Pokermask. In April 2016, after feeling dissillusioned with using the Pokermask-name for hismusic, he started to work out the plans for a new project, that would showcase a musical direction, different from what had been presented inhis previous works. He also felt that the name "Pokermask" had become too distracting, as it was more associated to his stop-motion work,rather than his musical work.
Nemesis would showcase music that would be more Experimental, Ambient and personal, something that Pokermask personally felt lacked fromhis previous works. Without prior announcement or promotion, the EP Pokermask Presents: Nemesis was released on December 30th 2016,marking the introduction of the new project and giving an indication of what was to come.
The first ever studio album under the Nemesis moniker, Elephant was released almost a year later on September 29th, 2017.
