The PLEBEIAN GRANDSTAND was formed in the summer 2005. Young band from Toulouse, France, gathering a handful of beautiful underground freaks. The quartet can be easily labelled as a pure musical exorcism of hate, rage and paranoia. An outlet of everything under the scope of personal emotions. Intense violence to tell about, stories of common people. 2008, first EP, the debut war cry from original and categorically defiant Plebeian grandstand. Brought forward with cutting-edge songwriting, striking with a siege of destroying power and emotion, and consuming with abysmal force. 2 years later, some gigs behind (played DIY shows and shared the stage with PELICAN, HORSE THE BAND, LOMA PRIETA, THE HOLY MOUNTAIN, OFF MINOR, INTRONAUT, BLACKLISTED, MONARCH!, CELESTE, THE OCEAN, I PILOT DAEMON, ALEA JACTA EST, CARNIVAL IN COALS etc...) Plebeian Grandstand was ready to release 'How hate is hard to define', focusing on motions that captivate as no other and questioning them as they would be at stake for everyone. Plebeian was presenting more mature elements of composition, telling the difference in what has to become emphasize and what's to be dropped quickly, so drawing up mor.
progressive patterns on their vision of their music. With 'How hate is hard to define', Plebeian has reached uncommon grounds and reaches the top level of uncompromising music. These guys also have side projects as MONTREAL ON FIRE, comprising Adrien and Simon (Romain, lead singer for I PILOT DEAMON is also on the boat.) And KHOD BREAKER, comprising the drumer, Raphaƫl.
Discography:
.The Vulture's Riot EP (2008)
.How Hate is Hard to Define (2010)
.2008: The debut war cry from original and categorically defiant Plebeian grandstand. Brought forward with cutting-edge songwriting, striking with a siege of destroying power and emotion, and consuming with abysmal force.
.2010: 2 years from the gasping 'Vulture riot' ep, Plebeian Grandstand returns with a full percussive punishment in the name of 'How hate is hard to define'. Forward-thinking, exclusive and colossal, the chaotic lure of the album has taken complexity to new
heights and added a healthy dose of incomparable melodic songcraft, for it is Plebeian Grandstand who understood the crescendo-running equation melancolic sounds = death. Hate is hard to define and you won't know which side you belong to. This album will
benefit from a double release on solid black 12'' and black crystal cd. Vinyl is set to be a cooperation between Heckspoiler music, Throatrunner and Lacrymal Records, while Basement Apes Records and Season of mist are concerned about the CD version.
