Obituary are one of the biggest and most sucessful bands in the Death Metal genre.
Their first two albums, Slowly We Rot and Cause of Death are both considered classics of the genre and their third album The End Complete, is the best selling Death Metal album of all time, selling over 100,000 copies in the US and over a quarter million worldwide. Also, the Obituary logo seen on the End Complete cover is Roadrunner's best selling shirt design.
Obituary are famous for their slow, pounding, Celtic Frost inspired sound and vocalist John Tardy's instantly recognisable growls.
