Neil Young

Canadian born Neil Young met Steven Stills in Thunder Bay Ontario while recording with his group the Squires. A little more than a year later Neil and a few ofhis friends made the trip down to L.A. in search of Steven. Neil found Steven in a traffic jam on Sunset trip and they decided to start a band. The band wouldbe called Buffalo Springfield and this would launch Neil's career. After Releasing 3 albums with the Springfield he set of in search of his solo career in 1969. However during the 80's he moved to Geffen records and purposely started make non. commercial albums.When he went back to Reprise Records in '89 he released "Freedom" his "comeback" record. He continued to realize records throughout the 90's includingone with Pearl Jam. In 2005 he had a brain aneurysm but continued to record his album "Prairie Wind". It was realized in September 2005. He has made40+ albums with Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, solo and with one of his backing bands called Crazy Horse since 1966. During he 40 year career Neil has managedto go through many genres including folk, hard rock, psychedelic folk rock, country, blues and even techno pop.
