A Chicago punk band formed in 1981, Naked Raygun was one of the first punk bands to embrace the mixing of melody and
hardcore. Over their decade-long career, they released six albums, continually revamping and changing their sound and lineup,
always willing to incorporate new ideas, and never resting on previous successes. From their humble beginnings as a noisy art-
punk outfit, to the leaders and innovators of Chicago's punk scene, Naked Raygun were fiery, inventive, and influential to this
very day.
