NOFX is a punk band hailing from Los Angeles California. The band started out as a raw punk group with intense energy in 1983, and kept up the pace throughout the early 90's. By 1996 the band started taking a new direction and switching their style over to pop-punk and ska and their music quickly became more simple and the intensity quickly vanished. NOFX have released 10 full length albums, and have been a major factor in the punk scene of the late 80's and early 90's and have also contributed to the pop-punk scene of the late 90's. NOFX's latest albums have been more socio-politically orientated, but they still show everyone that they are together for one reason: to have fun!
