NAHT were a Japanese alt rock/emo band, formed by former members of the punk bands God's Guts and Volume Dealers in 1995. Despite their punky roots, the sound of NAHT was initially influenced by gloomy post-hardcore, before later transitioning into a more broad field of alternative rock. Although they disbanded in 2009, NAHT are widely regarded as being one of the most significant bands in Japanese emo history.
