Midlake are an original indie band from rural Texas. Their music is often folky and very electronic, with vocals somewhat reminicent of Thom Yorke. They are very underappreciated, but have a huge fan in one Jason Lee (of Skateboarding/Movie/TV fame) who calls their breakthrough LP, Bamnan and Silvercork his 2nd favorite album of all time.
