Mega 8 Ball were a Japanese rap rock/punk band that formed in 1995. Originally fronted by Tetsu (formally of the legendary
visual band, Malice Mizer), the group's first carnation split by 1998. However, Mega 8 Ball was reformed in 2001, only without
Tetsu, and instead was fronted by Yutaka. Under this lineup, Mega 8 Ball would go on to be active for over a decade. However,
in 2012, Yutaka left the group, and the brains behind the group, bassist Rikiji, became quite busy in the Oblivion Dust project.
This led to Mega 8 Ball splitting up once more in 2012.
