Massive Attack

Undisputed pioneers of trip-hop, Massive Attack are arguably the most respected dance act Britain has ever produced. Spawned from theBristol-based Wild Bunch crew, also responsible for Tricky, Soul II Soul, and Portishead, Massive Attack scoreda critical hit with their 1991debut, Blue Lines, and the accompanying hit single, Unfinished Sympathy. More than this, theystarted a revolution in British dance.

Since this, Massive have been acknowledged as an influence on groups as diverse as Zero 7, Radiohead, The Verve, Jem, andBjork. They havecontinued to release critically acclaimed albums, including what many consider their masterpiece, 1998'sMezzanine.
