Mark Stewart was the singer with The Pop Group from 1978 to 1980.
Since then he has been performing a heavy dub funk industrial and techno soundtrack to the world under his own name. He often plays and
records with The Maffia (a.k.a. Tackhead) who are Keith Leblanc, Skip McDonald and Doug Wimbush under the supervision of producer Adrian
Sherwood. His albums are: Leaning To Cope with Cowardice (1983), As The Veneer Of Democracy Start To Fade (1985), Mark Stewart (1987),
Metatron (1990), Control Data (1996). He reappeared in 2005 with the release of an eclectic compilation of his work call Kiss The Future on
the Soul-Jazz label.
