Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Malignant Monster are a ruthless and merciless quintet who are focused on playing the diverse, yet brutal sound that has become their trademark. A mixture of death and thrash metal, their music is extremely energetic and just simply evil. The release of their demo Welcome to Your Doom in 2003 was the first anyone had listened to the band, and it was met with an immense response. Between then and the release of their debut studio release, Foul Play, in 2005, Malignant Monster constantly toured and gained an enormous reputation for their incredible live-shows. Cain Cressal, the vocalist, adds a great deal of theatrics to every performance. After supporting bands like Cryptopsy (CAN), Leave Eyes (NOR), Atrocity (NOR), God Forbit (USA), Marduk (SWE), The Black Dahlia Murder (USA) and Cephalic Carnage (USA), the band is in its prime. Tours of Europe and continued touring of Australia are planned for 2008, so Malignant Monster will definitely be a band to keep your eye on. « hide
