Making April was born in the dorm of Sean Scanlon (lead vocals/piano) and Steven McCaffrey (guitar/vocals) at Albany University. After some writing, they decided to complete their sound by adding Greg Federspiel (bass) and Thomas Robertine (drums). After a short year of building up a strong internet fanbase, they released their 8 song EP entitled Runaway World.
The band broke up in 2010 after a year-long hiatus.
