Mahumodo were a post-metal/post-hardcore band from the UK. Theyunfortunately only lasted five years (1998-2003) as at the
point ofsplitting they were getting a lot ofattention from larger labels andgreatly expanding their audience. They only recorded
four EPs in theirfive years, ‘Shels’, ‘Bythewaters’, ‘Aprils’ and ‘*Waves’. Each ofthemwent out of print long before Mahumodo split
up and have all beenseen to go for over £30 on ebay.
Mahumodo vocalist Mehdi Safa and Drummer Tom Harriman went onto develop a new project titled *shels, whilst the rest of the
band endedup forming Devil Sold His Soul.
