Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, better known by the stage name Lupe Fiasco (pronounced LOO-pay), is a Grammy-Award winning
American rapperfrom Chicago, Illinois (USA). With his debut album, "Food & Liquor", Fiasco showcased his ability at wordplay and
metaphors, as well astouching on the subjects of terrorism, abuse, poverty and corruption, among others.
His long-awaited sophomore album, titled "The Cool" (named after a song of the same name on his previous album) provides a
background tothe fictional characters portrayed in his songs that represent the hip-hop culture.
Lupe Fiasco has recently finished working on his fourth studio album, "Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album", due out
late 2012.
