Little Dragon is an electronic music band, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. It consists of Swedish-Japanese singer Yukimi Nagano (vocals, percussion) and her close high-school friends Erik Bodin (drums), Fredrik Källgren Wallin (bass), and Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards). The first Little Dragon's release was a double A-side 7’’ single ‘Twice’/’Test’, released on Off The Wall label in 2006. Since then they have been touring through Europe and also have made music videos for the songs "Test", "Twice", "Constant Suprises", "After The Rain", and "Fortune.
The lead singer Yukimi Nagano did a collaboration with Gorillaz on the CD Plastic Beach in 2010. She can be heard belting her soul out in a stellar performance on track 7 "Empire Ants" and as well on the slightly more lethargic but equally funky track 14 "To Binge." « hide |
