A female singer songwriter with a growing cult following, Laura Veirs signed to Nonesuch in 2004, debuting on the label with Carbon Glaciers. The record proved to be a hit with critics, making several end of year lists. 2005's follow-up, Year Of Meteors, continued the trend.
Her drummer and producer, Tucker Martine, is famous in his own right for his work with Modest Mouse.
