L-R (officially written as L⇔R) were a popular Japanese rock band that formed in 1990. They were known for heavily influenced
Britpop style, and could be accurately described as a Japanese version of Oasis, due to their humongous success as a group
and for their sheer impact on the Japanese rock scene. They split in 1997, but their legacy lives on as one of the most
memorable bands to surface onto the Japanese mainstream in the last 20 years.
