Kverlertak (meaning "Stranglehold) is a Norwegian hardcore band that incorporate both black metaland rock into their music. In late 2009 they signed a deal with Indie Recordings and in 2010 theyreleased their self-titled debut album. The band is well known in their homeland for their energetic live shows and singing in the mother tounge.
John Dyer Baizley (Baroness) provided the cover art for the album after hearing a demo on tour.
