    Bio: Armed with undeniable talent and an intense love of her craft, Kelsey Waldon is a rare and incredibly refreshing artist; an emerging force of raw, honest, and grounded songwriting in the Nashville music scene. Having collected and absorbed more records in her 26 years than most people will hear in a lifetime, this Kentucky native has an exceptional ability to evoke an older and often seemingly forgotten era of songwriting, while simultaneously creating a relevant, cutting edge, and unique style, true to her own experience. Her influences draw heavily on great songwriters and classic country icons alike. Waldon has spent a lifetime with American country and roots music, and remains with many stories to tell. She embraces her upbringing and influences with a whole heart.

    With almost 4 years in Nashville on her credit, Waldon is on her fifth studio release and full-length debut with “The Goldmine”. For production on “The Goldmine”, Waldon teamed up with Michael Rinne and Anderson East at Farmland Studios. The record includes a backing band of some of the best in the young Nashville music scene. “The Goldmine” features 11 songs of all. original material, and will be released on June 24th, 2014.
