John Martyn

Scottish musician John Martyn started his musical career at the tender age of 17, and has been releasing albums ever since the the late 60s. His career has been a mix of sheer brilliance and alcohol fueled failure.

Over his career, he has developed his music substantially, both in terms of his ever-evolving voice and his backslap accoustic guitar playing.

Although he is not well-publicised in the international world and has always struggled to break into the mainstream pop culture, he has still been an influential figure in British Folk and rock.
