The lack of capitalisation is a consistent, deliberate part of Jesu's naming conventions ("jesu" is often mistyped as"Jesu"); this gives a certain aesthetic quality, but also serves to remove the inherent religion from the use of Jesuas a proper noun. Since proper nouns typically reflect a level of importance on that which they describe, it couldbe said that avoiding this is in keeping with the depressive, almost nihilistic themes of jesu's music." « hide
