I've Sound is a Japanese electronica project that was formed in 1999 by Kazuya Takase, the leader of the I've Sound empire.
The group is known for their vast selection of female singers, whom are known as "utahime" among fans. The majority of the
group's songs are used in adult-oriented anime, with some of the most successful being Air, Black Lagoon, Higurashi no Naku
Koro ni and Please Teacher. A handful of the vocalists in I've Sound have also went on to have some mildly successful solo
careers, such as Kotoko, Eiko Shimamaya, Lia, Mell and Mami Kawada.
