Iannis Xenakis
Classical

Iannix Xenakis' experiments in sound and noise collages enabled him to become most likely the most popular, influential and successful Greek composer ever. His primary interests were that of feedback, dissonance and the application of mathematical models and algorithms in his compositions, because of this, he and some contemporaries are seen as forerunners of electronic music, a style of music that built on the ruins of his own atonal, shattered and often noisy compositions.
