Graveworm

Formed in 1992, Graveworm was a creation of German and Italian members; Stefano Fiori (Vocals), Stefan Unterpertinger (Guitar), Didi Schraffel (Bass), Martin Innerbichler (Drums), and Sabine Mair (Keyboards). In 1997, the band signed to Serenades Records, and in the same year, released their first EP, titled 'Eternal Winds'. 1998 saw the dawn of 'Underneath the Crescent Moon' EP, and a year later, saw the upbringing of their second album, 'As the Angels Reach the Beauty'. The band was now touring with acts such as Children of Bodom, Vader, and Cradle of Filth. Three years later, in 2001, Scourge of Malice was released, following a record label change to Nuclear Blast a year later. Line up changes were due (Henery Klenk (Guitars) left, replaced by Eric Treffel, who decided to leave soon after, then being reinforced with Eric Righi), and 'Engraved in Black' followed in 2003. Stefan Unterpertinger soon left after the release, then replaced by Lukas Flater. Henery Klenk returned, but for bass rather than guitar this time.

2004 brung the band to tour with Kataklysm, Destruction and others in the X-Mass tour, and Martin Innerbichler left drum duties to study, and was replaced by Moritz Neuner. The following year (2005) saw (N)Utopia released, but longtime guitarist Lukas Flarer left for personal differences, and was replaced by Orgler "Stirz" Thomas.

The bands newest effort, Collateral Defect, was released on June 5th, 2007. « hide
