God Forbid is a metal band formed in 1996, in East Brunswick, New Jersey. They gathered fans through touring with bands such as Cradle of filth, GWAR, and Nile. The band gained even more of a following by touring with Shadows fall and Lamb of God. Gone Forever was released in 2004 this earned them a spot in Ozzfest. A year later they released IV: Constitution of Treason. Soon after they toured with Trivium giving them some support. God Forbids song To The Fallen Hero won the independent music award for best heavy metal song. They released their latest full-length, Earthsblood, in 2009. « hide
