Goatwhore is an American blackened death metal band, formed in 1997 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The band's name supposedlycomes from one of the band member's an experience with a skanky stripper. Goatwhore was formed by singer/guitarist SammyDuet following the breakup of his previous band, Acid Bath. The band has released five studio albums between 2000 - 2012.
