Gary Young is an alternative/indie rock musician from Mamaroneck, New York. He first got his break as the drummer for the
popular 90's alternative rock band Pavement, but was eventually kicked out in 1993 for his overly eccentric behavior. Young
then released one album in 1994 under his name, and subsequently released two other albums under the name of Gary Young's
Hospital, until mysteriously disappearing from the music scene by 2007. It was later reported Young was working as a maker of
various music studio equipment, and is also stated that he is in the works of making new music. In 2016, he digitally released
"Malfunction", which was his first original release in over a decade.
