Gackt is a Japanese rock star who was the former lead vocalist of gothic-visual band Malice Mizer. Since he went solo in 1999,
he's experimented with many different genres of music, but it still looked upon as just another pop/rock sensation.
Not much is known about Gackt's life, though he's revealed he was born in 1973 and nearly drowned in the Sea of Okinawa.
He releases solo works with the help of his support band, GacktJOB. Currently, he is working with fellow stars Yoshiki, Sugizo, and Miyavi in the
Japanese superband S.K.I.N, about which little is known. He is also currently a member of a group entitled Yellow Fried Chickenz, which a
"conference" was held live and broadcasted on the famous Japanese website, "Nico Nico Douga".
