GBH formed in Birmingham, England in 1979 but didn't get noticed until the early 1980's. Their music consists of mostly punk/hardcore with traces of metal. They were orginally called Charged GBH to seperate itself from another band of the same name. The four-piece punk band began recording for Clay Records in the early 80's, putting out some singles before finally releasing their influential debut album in 1982 entitled "City Baby Attacked By Rats". They continued to release records throughout the 80's and 90's and are still putting albums out and touring today.
