G.I.S.M.

G.I.S.M. was an iconic hardcore punk band from Japan. Formed in 1981, the group went on to release a few singles and albums throughout the 1980's and the first half of the 1990's before going on a hiatus in 1996. In 2000, however, G.I.S.M. returned, and released their third full length album, "SoniCRIME TheRapy", in February of 2001. This was their first original album release in over a decade and was well received, although the group wound up disbanding in 2002. In 2016, G.I.S.M. played their first live show in 14 years in the Netherlands at the Roadburn festival, although it is currently unknown what the future holds for G.I.S.M.
