Fu-Schnickens were a hip hop trio from Brooklyn, that originally formed in 1991. The ragga-influenced rapid flow of Fu-Schnickens was often compared to the breakthrough rap group, Das EFX. Their 1992 debut album, "F.U. Don't Take It Personal", ended up going gold, and it looked like the Fu-Schnickens had a bright future ahead of them. However, their 1994 follow-up album, "Nervous Breakdown", failed to even sell a quarter of what their debut did. It is presumed that Fu-Schnickens disbanded in 1996 due to their plummeted sales.
