Friendship is a new Norwegian band based in Oslo whose name derives from a well known Norwegian progressive record released in 1971 by Junipher Greene. Friendship is an Oslo based power trio. The power trio rose as a musical genre in the late 60s with bands like Grand Funk, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Cream. Friendship inherits the energy and rawness from the genre and adds funky hooks and massive grooves. This is not a compromise, but a musical combination of the old gems and new influences.
