English composer and musician Fred Frith, born February 17th 1949, is known in the first place for his experimental Guitar playing. He was a member of the British avant-prog bands Henry Cow and Art Bears, but has later on worked with many other musicians from experimental, prog and avant-garde genres, including Robert Wyatt, Brian Eno and John Zorn and has released quite an amount of solo recordings since the 70s.
