Canada's Forty Birds formed in 2006 from the remnants of metal bands around the Montreal metal scene. Forty Birds are comprised of five members, each contributing to a catchy, alternative metal sound with hints of nu-metal and new-wave american heavy metal influence. In 2007, the band released its debut album ‘Shotgun Therapy’ independently.
