The first (rehearsal) demo was recorded in autumn '94. It's still unreleased and very little is known about it. Apart from the year of recording, it's known that it has four tracks and one of them appears on the re-issue of the band's first (self-titled) album.
In 2000 Forest transformed into Varglodr / Vargleide . A newer project called Nitberg involving members from Forest was formed back in 1999.

Four years after creation of Forest, Dagorath left everything he was involved with, all radical and ideological ideas, as well as Forest, and later on he was confirmed as dead (that's actually what is stated by band nowadays).
The reissues of their albums, made by ISO666, are considered bootlegs by the band. « hide |
