Findings is a passionate hardcore band from Arlington, Texas. The five-piece is versatile in their writing and sound, drawing influence not only from acts like Have Heart, Verse, Defeater, Reign Supreme, and It Prevails, but also artists like Half Hearted Hero, Title Fight, Daylight, Basement, Such Gold, and The Wonder Years. Findings is a passionate hardcore band from Arlington, Texas. The five-piece is versatile in their writing and sound, drawing influence not only from acts like Have Heart, Verse, Defeater, Reign Supreme, and It Prevails, but also artists like Half Hearted Hero, Title Fight, Daylight, Basement, Such Gold, and The Wonder Years. Findings carries a DIY, hard working attitude in several ways. Many tours, songs, graphics, merchandise, and promotions have been done by the band themselves. The group has been able to blend this mentality with a business attitude.
In the summer of 2011, Findings went on two small tours. They did two weeks around Texas and the border states with metalcore band, (newly reunited) We The Fearless, and a three week run along the east coast and midwest with melodic hardcore band, Divide (RIP, aka BUST!/The Measure Of). The two tours exposed the ensemble to new audiences, fans, and exposure across the nation.
During Winter of 2012, Findings recorded and released a demo from their upcoming ep. The song, posted on the their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/findingstx), is called "The Bridge," and was followed by a highly successful, one week tour throughout the South and Midwest U.S., pulling a draw in many cities throughout the nation.
As the band progresses through releases, tours, and lineup changes, Findings exposes a darker, more melodic, aggressive, and mature style. The ensemble has found and crafted their unique sound since their 2010 formation.
'A Coming of Age Story' - the band's debut full length has been in the works for two years. The album was released on January 2, 2012 through iTunes and Bigcartel (http://www.findings.bigcartel.com/). The albums has gotten many positive reviews on iTunes following the release. The album has been a success for this hard working Texas group.
