Fever Ray is a solo project by The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson. From her humble beginnings in 1999 making music with her brother Olaf Dreijer, Karin has developed a unique style of her own, first apparent in The Knife's 2006 album, Silent Shout. In 2009, she went to record her debut solo album, self-titled under the name Fever Ray. The album was met with praise by critics and has garnered decent commercial success as well.
