Forming in late 2010, the all female rock collective were soon turning heads with their comical video for debut single, ‘We Can Pretend Anyway’. The video, playlisted on both Scuzz TV and Kerrang! TV, has ammassed nearly 100,000 views online and led to the 2011 release of the bands debut E.P ‘Creation Divide’. The five track release was a glossy affair laden with catchy hooks and was received to critical acclaim by the UK music press.

2011 also saw Evarose play Hit The Deck Festival with the likes of Underoath and Deaf Havana. In June, the band embarked on their first ever tour, selling out small rooms across the country, further cementing their rise as one of the UK’s most exciting prospects.

This was followed up in November by a-side ‘Best Left Alone’ which premiered on Rocksound.tv in December. The single will be followed up by a brand new EP, to be recorded by John Mitchell & Ben Humphries (Architects, You Me At Six), which is earmarked for release in early summer.

In a world crowded by new music, Evarose look set to join the few bands to stand above the rest this year. « hide
