Eternal Tears of Sorrow (commonly abbreviated to EToS) is a melodic death metal band that incorporates symphonic metal into their songs together with some gothic influences. Formed in 1994 and being one of the first bands in their genre, they went on hiatus on 2003, only to reform in 2005 and release their latest effort, Before the Bleeding Sun, one year later.
