Eskimo Joe formed in 1997 out of Perth, Australia and received their first break winning the Australian National Campus Band competition and a spot on the 'Livid' festival. The band: Kav Temperley, bass and lead vocals, Stu MacLeod, lead guitar and backing vocals, and Joel Quartermain, on drums during production and on rythym guitar and bass live, have had major success in Australia releasing their breakthrough gold album 'Girl' in 2000.
