Imix Shish and Mike Mollura go WAY back. Friends since junior high, they used to rock it garage style in suburban Exeter Twp, PA. The duo appeared in several bands over the yearsand rocked bowling alleys, basements, fairgrounds and clubs at various times and across the eastern USA (though maintaining their base in the Reading, PA area). Proudly still playing songs they wrote in 1998, the duo formed Equals Conquest in 2005, when Mike was a retail assassin and Imix was drowning in legalese. Working in quick fashion the duo released Manifest Destiny in 2006, a collection of sonic soundscapes/ indie rock/pop/ electronic beats/ awesomeness.

After a hiatus of sorts (big life changes/real jobs/near death experiences/etc.), the duo have now released their sophomore effort, Rummager, which features 9 new songs. Like Manifest Destiny, Rummager was created on the duo's own terms, on their own time, as equals, and with only themselves to please. A bit of a sonic departure from Manifest Destiny, Rummager features shorter, crisper and more experimental songs, while still maintaining the duo's signature blend of layered soundscapes and a wide range of emotions.

Tidbits: Both "Rummager" and "Manifest Destiny" were self-recorded (with the help of friends) across several states - art for both albums features the photography of Imix Shish - rumor has it that if you start "Rummager" and the He-Man episode "The Curse of the Spellstone" at the same time, that they go together perfectly. « hide
