Download was first conceived by Dwayne Goettel and cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy in 1994. After the tragic demise of Goettel in 1995, former band
member cEvin Key continued Download's music. Other artists later included Phil Western, Mark Spybey, Genesis P. Orridge, Anthony Valcic, and Ken Marshall.
The music has been described as experimental, post-industrial, and chaotic at times. Focusing heavily on synthesizers and innovatively mixed percussive
sounds, you won't find Download headlining the Grammy's anytime soon.
