Emanuela Trane was born in Scorrano, Italy in 1977. Her career began like those of most authentic musicians: with a lot of struggle. But, she worked hard and the success came.
She took part in the selection of the competition Destinazione Sanremo on the channel Rai 2 in 2002 and was invited to participate at the Sanremo Festival. Emanuela Trane was born in Scorrano, Italy in 1977. Her career began like those of most authentic musicians: with a lot of struggle. But, she worked hard and the success came.
She took part in the selection of the competition Destinazione Sanremo on the channel Rai 2 in 2002 and was invited to participate at the Sanremo Festival. She won in the category Young Section of this very famous festival in 2003 with the track Siamo Tutti Là Fuori and also won the Press, TV and Radio Award.
After this stunning success she started to present her first album Sorriso Nucleare and toured through Italy till 2004.
In 2005, after winning the famous Italian reality show Music Farm, she presented her second album Un Mondo Perfetto, which remained on the charts for almost a year, after a historical 4th place new entry.
In that year she composed and interpreted Domani, the hymn for the Championship of the National Juvenile Soccer, she won the coveted De Andrè Award and carried the Olympic Torch to the Marmi Stadium in Rome and she also received the Leone d'Argento in Venice as musical revelation of the year.
In 2006 Dolcenera was officially invited to participate in the Sanremo Festival. The title of the song is Com'è Straordinaria La Vita (How wonderful life is), the first single out of her current Italian album Il Popolo Dei Sogni, which stays in the Top 30 Single-Charts for many weeks.
Her last two albums were both certified gold.
A compilation out of her last two albums also called Un Mondo Perfetto was just released in Germany.
In 2009, she was invited again in the Sanremo Festival; she was eliminated at the third night, but her single Il Mio Amore Unico gained a hot air play reaching the Italian Top 5.
