Butupon his release in 2004, the rebirth has come, andDissection lives on. 2004 saw the release of MahaKali,anEP theintroduced the band's new Gothenburg sound. After a series of showsto bid permanent farewell to the firsteraofDissection,Reinkaos was released to a massive, worldwide welcoming of open metal arms.Sadly, founderJonNodtveidtcommittedsuicide in august of 2006, ending his own personal legacy as well as Dissection's. Nodtveidt is hailedasatruesatanist who livedhis life according to his own convictions and ended it when he felt he had served his purpose.Despiteanysatanistbeliefs, it'shard to deny that Dissection was one of the most influential metal bands in the world. « hide
