Decapitated is a Technical Death Metal band hailing from Krosno, Poland. They formed in 1996 under the same name by Vogg, Vitek, Sauron and Martin. Their debut album was released under Earache Records in 2000.
Sauron left the band in 2005 and Covan from Atrophia Red Sun filled in. More recently, Martin left the band and Vitek died from a car accident in Russia while on tour; Covan was affected by the crash too although his condition is improving. Now they're signed to Nuclear Blast Records.
