David Coverdale rose to prominence in the mid to late 70's as the lead singer of Deep Purple. After Purple's split in 1976, Coverdale continued
making blues-based hard rock with two solo albums. After the release of his first solo album, Coverdale put together, what would eventually

Coverdale ended Whitesnake and took a break from the music bussiness. During the 90's Coverdale worked with Jimmy Page (which resulted in
one album) and performed a few times with a reactivated Whitesnake, but Coverdale didn't fully reform the band until 2002. Since then
